Engineering and technology is not something far away or for after so many years. It is not something that may be imposed on civilians by society. But what technology can do is help us face the challenges of every day, certainly in health care. With that promise, Peter Portheine (Cooperative Slimmer Leven 2020) today officially opened the Living Smarter House on the 18 September Square.
“Ultimately it all comes down to the question what technology can change in your everyday life. Where it can make a small difference in your life when it comes to a situation where you are sick or lonely. And how you can have some benefit out of it yourself.”
The answer to that question can be seen in the Smarter Living House. Dancing robots included.
