Constantijn van Oranje: “There was an abundance of sign-ups from very high quality startups from all the major tech regions in the Netherlands. The huge interest exceeded our expectations. The selected startups are a showcase of the many areas of innovation and technology in which The Netherlands excels.”
Henk Kamp: “The Netherlands is one of Europe’s innovation leaders and is one of the world’s most competitive economies. Our entrepreneurs have a lot to offer in terms of technology. It is therefore important that we are bringing this delegation of enthusiastic and promising startups to the world’s biggest technology conference. We will help the Dutch startups present themselves and build networks. Together we will bring home the most cutting-edge technology and information.”
Meer over de Eindhovense startups die meegaan:
ATO-Gear
ATO-GEAR develop wearable technologies for health and sports applications centered around the belief that better exercise means a better life. 7 years of research at institutes across Europe and 7 patents spun out from the Dutch National Research Institute, TNO, form the foundation of ATO-GEAR. Their heritage of research and patent portfolio span multiple domains and technology positions, but they have a keen initial focus on the running market, helping to protect runners from injuries that plague the sport and assisting ambitious athletes in optimising their performance.
ATO-GEAR’s first product ARION comprises ultra-thin, printed electronic pressure sensitive insoles that slip into your own running shoes and connect you with your running technique in a way that has never been possible before. By translating rich biomechanical data into intuitive and easy to understand interfaces, ARION breaks down running technique into simple pieces. A runner can focus on one element of their running technique at a time, master that element before moving on to the next.
This allows you to take control and rebuild your own running technique to achieve your goals, whether that be to improve your performance or to reduce your risk of injury.
ByFlow
At byFlow we want to enable people to 3Dprint anywhere, anytime and in any material. Therefore we developed a Multi-Material and portable 3DPrinter that everybody can use, called the Focus. The byFlow Focus 3D printer combines the best features of various other printers. It is equipped with intelligent printer heads, which utilise an easy magnetic click on system, making it possible to print with over 20 different materials like silicon, ceramic, bronze(clay), nylon, biorubber, wood and food. To be able to print those different materials, the Focus has currently two dedicated printer heads, developed for plastic filament and paste materials.
SendCloud
Cost- and time- inefficient shipping has inspired three friends with an online store to launch SendCloud. SendCloud is the smart shipping service for e-commerce, which enables online stores to operate more efficiently and ship goods at competitive rates. The cloud-based shipping software of SendCloud connects multiple carriers to online shops. Partnerships with a large range of shipping providers such as DHL, PostNL, DPD and UPS allow SendCloud to offer multiple shipping options at compelling prices to their customers. The entrepreneurs are determined to create one unified parcel network in Europe, to further optimise the cross-border shipping and return process. With SendCloud, online stores can select their most effective shipping solution, print the associated labels, send and return packages anywhere around the world.
E-Senses
E-Senses was founded in December 2015 in Eindhoven. This is a family company, which is run by mother and son. The company is planning to create exceptionally intelligent electronic products, which open up new dimensions in extending humans’ five senses by providing additional electronic senses.

This business model offers the possibility to have a partnership with the best in class companies. Teamwork is essential in this respect. Build on each other’s ideas and unexpected insights leads to advanced solutions.
E-Senses coordinates all outsourced activities starting from ideation, prototyping, industrialization and manufacturing. Promotion, marketing, sales, and customer services through the internet are the company’s main activities.
E-Senses is going to present their first product, the Helios Smart Ring at Indiegogo crowdfunding platform in October 2016.
