On Tuesday, 20 October an expert jury chose the winners of mobility awards as part of the eMove360° Hybrid 2020 Conference & Exhibition for Mobility 4.0. The jurors selected a total of ten companies as finalists in several categories in the unique ambience of the Kohlebunker, MOTORWORLD in Munich.

The Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy Award Hubert Aiwanger was present as patron of the awards. “The eMove360° as well as the eMove360° Awards are ideal platforms for presenting innovative and sustainable mobility solutions to an international audience. At the same time, the exhibitors will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and information.”

Mobility Concepts & Services

Winner: Teamobilty GmbH – UCCON

UCCON (Universal Chassis for Customized Operations and New Mobility) from Teamobility is an innovative mobility and transport eco-system in user-focused, ultra-compact lightweight construction for urban mobility. UCCON combines innovations from the fields of ultra-low-emission drives, affordable lightweight system construction and low-investment production technologies. Charging & Energy

Winner: MOVE by Uniper

Battery-buffered charging stations enable fast charging for electric vehicles, even at decentralized locations. This eliminates the need for a grid connection. Constant monitoring by specially developed software enables Uniper to optimally design the logistics: charging columns are replaced such that downtimes are hardly noticeable. Columns are charged in energy hubs with renewable electricity.

Battery & Powertrain

Winner: Webasto Roof & Components SE – CV Standard Battery System

This solution provides durable standard battery systems for commercial vehicles, combining the price advantages of a scalable plug-and-play mass product with the fitting accuracy of a customer-specific solution. With a system configuration between 400 and 800V and with up to 350kWh, the scalable solution is suitable for commercial vehicles of all kinds. Battery cells of the latest generation ensure an exceptionally long service life.

Automated Driving & Electronics

Winner: Scantinel Photonics GmbH – FMCW LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging)

LIDAR is a key technology for autonomous mobility. Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) LIDAR systems are a significant contribution to the breakthrough of autonomous mobility. The Scantinel 5D FMCW LiDAR technology has significant advantages over conventional methods. Scantinel Photonics GmbH, a spin-off of Carl Zeiss AG, is the only European company in the field of commercial FMCW LIDAR systems.

Electric Vehicle

Winner: Quantron AG

Quantron AG is the only full-range supplier in Europe for electric and H2 mobility solutions for commercial vehicles up to 44 t and buses.
