LifeSense Group, creator of Carin today announced its second product line: a new female health & hygiene underwear brand for the global market. The name is Eve. Eve stands for menstruation underwear that is washable, absorbing and addresses women of all ages from their first menstruation until menopause.
LifeSense Group is founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the renowned R&D institute Holst Center/imec in Eindhoven, and is located at the High Tech Campus. Read more on Lifesense Group here.
Eve undies is a durable and sustainable replacement of a disposable panty liner or pad. Unlike Lifesense’s first product (Carin), Eve has no app-connectio. “This is all about smart absorbing en fast drying textile”, says product manager Eline van Uden. “But you never know what will come in the next phase.”
A system of layers is built in the underwear that absorbs amounts of menstruation blood similar to the size of a large tampon. The top layer consists of breathable and fast drying textile that keeps the skin dry and regulates hygiene. After washing, the underwear is clean and ready to be worn again.
Customers can choose from three styles of underwear. The feminine hygiene brand was launched during the XL Day event in the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven. It is a major investor’s event organised by the incubator High Tech XL.
