Decarbonizing Europe – Luxembourg

What are Luxembourg’s plans to become more sustainable?
Find out in our project Decarbonizing Europe

Luxembourg is home to 0.4 percent of the European Union population, yet it is the country with the highest greenhouse gas emissions. Transport-related ones are the most prominent, with fuel tourism being the main driver. The Grand-Duchy is getting 93 million euros from the European Commission, and it is investing a third of this sum in charging stations to foster electric mobility. In addition to that, a zero-emissions district will be built, and we visited the area it will be located in. Are you curious about how Luxembourg is planning to decarbonize?
