Luxembourg is home to 0.4 percent of the European Union population, yet it is the country with the highest greenhouse gas emissions. Transport-related ones are the most prominent, with fuel tourism being the main driver. The Grand-Duchy is getting 93 million euros from the European Commission, and it is investing a third of this sum in charging stations to foster electric mobility.
