  • Skoon Energy has raised €5 million.
  • Skoon’s software platform connects clean mobile energy systems with users.

The company aims to reform local energy supply. They do this by connecting users of traditional diesel generators with suppliers of clean mobile energy systems, such as batteries and hydrogen and solar generators. Skoon’s software platform enables customers to use smart AI tools to select the best energy system for their specific needs, monitor their energy consumption and report on CO2 savings at the touch of a button. Skoon’s software tools combine financial and energy-related data.

Vattenfall and Ministry of Defence

Currently, Skoon’s platform is used by rental companies across Europe, including Atlas Copco, as well as large-scale energy users such as Vattenfall, the Dutch Ministry of Defence and the Port of Amsterdam.

Grid expansion

Instead of being stuck in outdated infrastructure, grid operators can implement a mobile energy network to support or replace the power grid on a large scale. This flexibility in time and location enables grid operators and their customers to save costs. Skoon as a flexible layer around the power grid also contributes to the efficiency and planning of grid expansion.
