Pobeda Airlines will fly four times a week from Vnukovo Airport in Moscow to Eindhoven Airport starting on 21 December. The airport announced this today. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday a Boeing 737-800 takes off from Russia to Eindhoven Airport.
Eindhoven Airport indicates that the Russian capital is not only a nice addition to tourist trips but also provides a lot of business traffic. “Brabant and Eindhoven will be easily accessible for the Russian market with this new connection between Moscow and Brainport Eindhoven. This offers many opportunities for business travellers working in the automotive, high-tech and agri-food sector”, says commercial director Flip Estourgie of the airport. It is the first direct flight to the Netherlands for Pobeda Airlines, which is part of the largest aviation company in Russia.
