On Thursday the 23d of February, the winner of the iCity Tender will be announced. The winner will receive 20.000 euro to develop a smart city solution for Eindhoven. The award is the final stage in the iCity Tender, an award written out by the city of Eindhoven, TU/e and VolkerWessels.
The competing plans have to contribute to making Eindhoven a smarter city and have to be executed in Strijp-S. A jury, led by alderman Staf Depla and made up out of representatives from involved parties will make a choice on Friday out of a selection of competitors that have already received 5.000 Euro for their idea in October 2016.
The iCity Tender calls upon SME’s and start-ups to come up with innovative products and services, that ‘use the strength of the community to further improve the quality of life in Eindhoven’.
The reveal of the award on Thursday 23th of February will be at Seats2Meet in Eindhovens Apparatenfabriek at Strijp-S. The ceremony will start at 18.30 and will last until 22.30 hours. Thos who are interested in attending the event can do so for free.
