The event provides a platform for modelers, hackers, artists, and engineers to share their innovative projects and ideas with the public. Maker Days is known for its interactive experiences, from workshops and demonstrations to breathtaking exhibitions and inspiring talks.
What to expect?
During Maker Days, visitors are immersed in a world of creativity and technology. One of the weekend’s highlights is the spectacular Maker Parade, which travels through the center of Eindhoven on both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, you can enjoy the exciting Dutch Robot Games, where robots compete against each other in an arena inspired by programs such as BattleBots and Robot Wars. For those who like to get started themselves, there are numerous workshops, such as a workshop in which you learn how to generate your own energy or give free rein to your creativity in embroidering electronic circuits. There are also inspiring presentations, such as those by Anouk Wipprecht on Robotic Couture and Troy Nachtigall on the future of 3D-printed textile robots.
