Festo will be responsible for training and part of the research at Brainport Industries Campus. The Delft based company and Brainport Industries have signed a letter of intent for this purpose at the Hannover Messe.
Brainport Industries Campus will be built between Eindhoven Airport and the highway A2. Its ambition is to enhance the competitive power of the Dutch high-tech manufacturing industry by hosting the “Factory of the Future”.
Brainport Industries is working with market leaders and strong innovators to set up the new Brainport Industries Campus, said managing director John Blankendaal. “This “Factory of the Future“ should become the first demonstration of integration of Dutch industry, entrepreneurs, field lab and technical education and competence development on one location.
