The Smart City Congress in New York brings together experts from all over the world for a week of debates, lectures and excursions. And, of course, the Netherlands is part of it with a large delegation. A team of people representing 46 organisations in the field of circular economy, smart mobility and government policy traveled from the Netherlands to New York. In their luggage also 100 copies of E52’s recent book “Eindhoven Towards a Smart Society“.
“The demand was huge,” says Johann Beelen, who participates in the Congress on behalf of Brainport Development. “If I could have, I would have taken many more.” The photo shows Beelen with the last book in his hands, standing in the Dutch pavilion on Pier 36 in New York City.
