I was at a party the other night and the subject of buying an electric boat came up. Because you see, the person who brought this up explained, soon the Amsterdam canals will be closed to non-electrified boats.
In the blink of an eye, the paradigm has shifted from EVs for dorks to EVs for real role models. Charging stations are practically springing up everywhere. In the meantime, the electricity grid in The Netherlands has had to withstand numerous trials and tribulations. But hey, there’s the new charging station converter, right on schedule, charging exactly when the grid needs it.
Nowadays there is another argument: the charging station is a giant middle finger to Putin, although how that electricity is generated is still a moot point.
