The Helmond high tech machine manufacturer AAE is going to expand considerably. With the purchase of two properties near the current business location, AAE is growing from 10,000 to 30,000 square metres. These are existing business locations, so it is expected that the new space can be brought into use as early as next summer. The departments Key Technologies, (cleanroom) Assembly and Warehouse are particularly helped with this.
Director Frank Mulders looks forward to the expansion. “There is a lot of talk about Smart Industry and new manufacturing. We are going to actually put it into practice here in Helmond.” With the installation of solar panels over the entire roof, AAE also wants to become a more sustainable company.
For Mulders, the expansion is also a step to grow to 600 employees and a turnover of 200 million per year.
