Philip de Goey

Philip de Goey, a professor in Combustion Technology, has been elected as Fellow of the Combustion Institute for his innovative experimental and numerical investigations of flame properties including laminar burning velocities and flamelet-generated manifolds.

Apart from being a professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology, De Goey is well known for his efforts in building the Metalot Campus in Budel Dorplein.

As dedicated members of the international combustion community, Philip de Goey and the other elected Fellows are recognized by their peers as distinguished for outstanding contributions to combustion, whether it be in research or in applications. Fellows are active participants in The Combustion Institute, as evidenced by the publishing of papers or attendance at the International Symposia on Combustion.

In March 2017, The Combustion Institute Board of Directors established the Fellows Program of The Combustion Institute.
