Nina Hoff van de Eindhovense startup ByFlow is donderdag uitgeroepen tot Techionista‘s Tech Entrepreneur van 2018. Bij de jaarlijkse uitreiking van de Techionista Awards kreeg Hoff de erkenning voor haar werk op het gebied van 3d-geprint voedsel.

De prijzen vielen in vier categorieën: Tech Talent, Tech Leader, Tech Entrepreneur and Tech Inspirator. Daarnaast werd er een publieksaward uitgereikt.

Uit het juryrapport:

“The jury did not search within the Tech Entrepreneur category only for someone with a well-executed idea, but an idea which is at the same time applicable and convincing as a business model. According to the jury, 3D printing is the future. 3D-printing of FOOD, speaks to the imagination even more.”

Na het succes van ByFlow op de Food Industry Fair Horecava 2018 and de aankondiging van de samenwerking met Verstegen Spices&Souces is de Techionista Award al het derde hoogtepunt voor de op de High tech Campus gevestigde startup in dit jaar.

– Esther van Luit – winner of the Public Award.

The jury van de Techionista Awards 2018 bestond uit: Gina Doekhie (Forensic IT expert, FOX-IT), Mary-Jo de Leeuw (vice president of Women in Cyber Security Foundation), Tineke Meijerman (Head of Corporate Communications Benelux, Facebook), Antoinette Pernot (Senior Account Manager, SAS), Daphne Laan (Head of Partners, Google Netherlands), Anneke Keller (Head of Jumbo Tech Campus) en Frank Caris (CCO dean one).
