Eindhoven based wearable tech company LifeSense Group, has partnered with global medical goods provider Hartmann Group, to expand its activities into Australia and New Zealand.

As a result of the partnership, LifeSense’s award winning Carin wearables product will soon be available to Australian and New Zealand women through the Hartmann Australia online store.

With incontinence affecting around 4 million Australian women (Continence Foundation Australia), LifeSense Group CEO Valer Pop sees the new partnership holding great opportunity for the fledgling company.

Managing Director of Hartmann Australia, Mark Summerville, also praised the new collaboration, saying: “We are delighted to be partnering with LifeSense on this extremely innovative technology. It is a non-invasive way to obtain treatment and helps empower women get back to balance”.

LifeSense’s lead wearables product Carin, is a line of smart underwear designed to help women suffering from incontinence related issues. Inbuilt sensors, which can connect to a special phone app via Bluetooth, allow users to establish exercise routines to successfully improve the pelvic floor muscles.

LifeSense Group was founded in 2015 as a spin-off of Holst Center / imec in Eindhoven and is located on the High Tech Campus.
