Eindhoven is the capital of the High Tech industry. That makes High Tech Capital the obvious name for the event that brings together established companies (corporates), startups but also investors. High Tech Capital is both part of the Dutch Technology Week and of Startup Fest Europe.

dtwE52 publishes a series of articles in preparation for the Dutch Technology Week (23-29 May). This is the tenth part. Here the earlier parts.

Victoria Martinez, startup officer for the city of Eindhoven and organizer of High Tech Capital, is fortunate to have these ‘double parents’. “In both directions we can show the importance of this city. And meanwhile, we create the best possible networking place for the participants.”

The speakers list is not complete yet, but already impressive. Peter Weijmarshausen (Shapeways), Marian van Loon (Shell), Sunny Stalnaker (ASML) and Mayor Rob Gijzel will be attending. “Great people with great stories, in itself worth a visit to our event,” said Martinez. “But then again, we are not just there to listen to people. The market with 75 startups for example is equally interesting. And I also expect a lot of interest from the FinTech world. I have already seen a lot of applications from them.”

A lot of financial experts will attend the event on 25 May. Laughing: “Hey, it’s not called High Tech Capital for noting. The banks will be there of course, but also business angels, investors and the RVO, the civil service for entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. ”

High Tech Capital will take place at the Philips Stadium. Two floors, the pitch and one of the restaurants are involved in the event. Entry to the event is free but pre-registration is required.
