Female Tech Heroes will be launched at the Eindhoven High Tech Campus on 21 May, marking “the start of a special network, where women in technology can connect, learn and inspire each other”.

The full-day agenda will include keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and one-on-one interactions over refreshments. The program is part of Dutch Technology Week 2019.

Hilde de Vocht and Ingelou Stol, the organisers of Female Tech Heroes, says it is “a new networking event dedicated to women working in technology. We want to inspire women in tech, but also women who are curious about technology”.

Given that women still represent a small minority in the technology industry, this is an opportunity for women to “talk about their career and inspire each other”.

“Last year, our pilot event Women in Tech was sold out in no time. And it was amazing to see the enthusiasm of the women who attended. But this year it got even crazier. In less than two weeks 600 women subscribed for Female Tech Heroes.” The event is now fully subscribed.
