The 7th Edition of Dutch Technology Week will start next Monday. This year, the focus will be on talent in the broadest sense of the word. For the seventh year in a row, more than 150 high-tech companies, knowledge institutes, and talents are showing the latest trends and innovations in their sector. The Dutch Technology Week will take place from 4 to 9 June 2018.

The programme has too many elements to mention them all – so below only the highlights of Dutch Technology Week 2018:
Friday 1 June
In the run-up to the DTW, Frits van Hout (ASML, Chairman of the DTW Board), together with Bente van den Tillaart (SUMMA student) and Michiel Dirckx (TU/e student) will open AEX Trade Market in Amsterdam.
Monday 4 June
The opening ceremony of the DTW with breakfast. During the opening FME will launch ‘Upgrade NL‘, a programme to make the Netherlands ‘tech wise‘ in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, the Brainport Talent & Skills Agreement is presented: this agreement, signed by 200 entrepreneurs and managers, contains joint agreements on the development, attraction, and retention of talent (much more on this subject on Monday on E52).
Tuesday 5 June
This year, too, there will be a Night Of The Nerds: the technology festival for everyone between the ages of 14 and 19 in which the latest digital, technological and media developments can be seen.
Wednesday 6 June
Official launch Hyperspace Institute; the experience gained in recent years with virtual and augmented reality is now brought together in the Hyperspace Institute (an association of and for VR and AR professionals).
Robot Challenge
Six multidisciplinary student teams from Tilburg University, Fontys University of Applied Sciences, TU/e and Avans University of Applied Sciences present the results of their research into robotic solutions for healthcare.
Opening Smarter Life House
The Smarter Life (Slimmer Leven) House introduces visitors to the technological possibilities to stay at home longer and independently and to improve care.
Thursday 7 June
The Quiz Night XL! It is not for nothing that this is called the Champions League for connoisseurs in the high-tech sector. The most difficult questions about science and technology.
Friday 8 June
Sports & Technology Session, KempenTech with the Business Relationship Day and the Education Day for Groups 7 & 8 and the meetup of the TU/e student teams.
Saturday 9 June
High Tech Discovery Route: at a number of appealing locations, top technology companies in Brainport Eindhoven, Tilburg, Drachten, and Assen give a glimpse into the kitchen of their organisation.
