Italy is the country getting the largest share of the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility, with €191.5 billion – 69.5 of them in grants and 122 in loans. As per PM Mario Draghi’s words when presenting the plan, “The corona recovery fund makes investments possible that would have otherwise been impossible, unthinkable, until just days ago.” Italy is investing in clean energy, more efficient digital infrastructure, and in renovating buildings.
