During Dutch Design Week 2017, the 335,000 visitors spent a total of almost 15 million euros in shops and restaurants. More than one-third of this was spent in the hotel and catering industry. The event will thus create 108 jobs in the tourism sector. For the research, a survey was conducted among more than 1200 visitors.
