Alex Dings (21) and Ruben van Vreeland (21) are the best young entrepreneurs of 2017. With their company BitSensor they won the pitching contest organised by Sprout’s 25 Under 25. BitSensor is active in a big upcoming market: cybersecurity. It offers digital protection for companies. The startup has its headquarters at the University of Technology in Eindhoven.

With success: the startup already acquired a couple banks, insurers, and governments as clients for their service. The renowned investor Volta Ventures provided the young entrepreneurs with growth capital.’

As a drop-out, Alex Dings (21) founded the startup BitSensor together with Ruben van Vreeland. Remarkable for Alex and his career is the openness with which he looks at project, the ideas he brings to the table, and then just tackles it.

BitSensor grew to have 12 employees in the last months, and grows with a rate of one new hire per month. The ambition BitSensor has is big. “We are only finished scaling when 7.4 billion people in the world are secured”

BitSensor develops software which runs inside the organization’s applications and gathers data from inside. The average hack discovery time makes the product unique. Within a couple of milliseconds, hacker’s attack effort shows up and BitSensor helps you to detect or block the complete hacker profile.
